A product sold on Amazon or another marketplace still has a life after the box is opened. The marketplace owns the checkout relationship. The brand still owns the physical product — and can put a Smart QR™ on it that opens its Product Experience. Canonical audience page: Post-Purchase Experience for Amazon and Marketplace Sellers. See also the post-purchase platform.
That is allowed only inside that marketplace’s rules, privacy requirements, and the customer’s consent. MyQRGuide does not collect marketplace account identities. Support and warranty on the Mini Site are the brand’s own flows, not a scrape of the marketplace account.
What you can offer after a marketplace sale
- Guides and support on the product’s own page
- Warranty registration the customer chooses to submit to you (included on Free)
- Product Intelligence from scans and that page — not from the marketplace’s buyer list
What you should not claim
Do not promise that a QR bypasses marketplace messaging policies, or that you will always know who bought the unit on Amazon. If the customer never scans, you may have no post-purchase signal at all.
