Smart QR for Products and Service Locations

What the scan should do

Open the right Product Experience — not a generic homepage

A useful Smart QR™ does one job: take the customer to the experience for the thing in their hands or the location they are standing in. If the scan lands on a marketing homepage, an expired campaign, or a login wall, the QR failed as support.

The code is the entrance. MyQRGuide manages what lives behind it: name, Smart Guides, AI and live support, and warranty when the brand offers it.

Products and places

The same pattern for a box and a location

Physical products

A scan on packaging, a label, or a device should show that model’s guides, support, and warranty — not the brand’s entire catalog.

Service locations

A scan at a table, room, clinic, or job site can explain hours, how to book, what to bring, and how to get help in the brand’s own words.

Live vs listed

QR can work while search stays off

A Mini Site can be live for scans and still unlisted from search and AI until the seller opts in. Direct scans keep working. That split is deliberate: a live QR is not an invitation to index every test site.

  • The product or location name the customer can recognise
  • Smart Guides for use, care, or booking
  • A way to ask for help from approved knowledge
  • Only the next steps the brand actually runs

Marketplace-sold units still follow that marketplace’s policies, privacy rules, and consent. MyQRGuide does not collect marketplace account identities.
