Brand Story

OUR BRAND STORY ErgoJoJo’s journey started with two parents who were looking for a practical lamp for nighttime feeds. When our son Jonathan was born we placed his cot next to our bed so we could safely sleep together and feed him easily during the night. This caused limited space for a floor-standing lamp or bedside lamp, due to a lack of surface to place the lamp on. As a qualified occupational therapist (OT), I was used to adapting environments to maximize function and comfort.   I knew what was needed here was an ergonomic solution – a clip-on lamp that we could attach to our bed head or his cot, but all we could find were clip-on lights designed for office use. They were either too bright for nighttime feeds or featured a dull design that would be fine for a study lamp, but not inspiring for developing babies. But my role has tought me to think outside the box, and I felt that it was my duty to create a breastfeeding lamp for all moms. So with my partner’s support, we created our own lamp! Small and practical with four brightness levels to protect a child’s eyes. Curvy and clipable so a baby can be fed in any room they find comfortable. Convertible with a removable star shade to create a study lamp as the child grows.   After a long and bumpy journey, we’re proud to share our ErgoJoJo lamp with you all and hope you enjoy its sturdy build and practicality as much as we do.

Lovely and Safe Clip Light! I bought 3 Ergojojo light for my 3 kids. This lamb is very safe kids (there are no fragile elements that can break and cause cuts, the star itself is soft so there’s no risk of injuries and it doesn’t heat so no risk of burns). The light is yellowish and lovely, gives the room a very nice atmosphere. Also has a clips to tie to bed so it encourages bedtime reading. Very happy with this product.
